Reviewer verdict

Across 36 YouTube reviews, the CMF Watch 3 Pro earns a Summa score of 3.7/5, ranking #30 among Smartwatches. Reviewers most often praise its features, design & comfort, display, while the most common criticisms concern features, design & comfort.

The CMF Watch 3 Pro stands out for its incredible value, offering a premium experience at a budget price. Reviewers consistently praise its stylish, minimalist design, featuring a metal alloy frame and a large, vibrant 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 60Hz refresh rate. Its exceptional battery life, lasting up to two weeks with typical use, is a major highlight. The watch is packed with features typically reserved for more expensive models, including accurate dual-band GPS, a comprehensive suite of 131 sport modes, and an AI running coach. Unique software additions like on-wrist ChatGPT integration and a voice recorder with transcription further enhance its appeal, making it a feature-rich and highly competitive option for under $100.

The watch's biggest shortcomings lie in its software limitations and inconsistent performance. It lacks essential smartwatch features, most notably NFC for mobile payments, an app store for third-party apps, and onboard music storage. This closed OS restricts its utility compared to Wear OS devices. Furthermore, several reviewers reported significant inaccuracies and unreliability in its health and fitness tracking, with heart rate and sleep data often deviating from reference devices. Some advertised AI features, like ChatGPT integration, were found to have limited compatibility or failed to work altogether, and the removal of the swappable bezel from the previous generation was a noted downgrade.
