Reviewer verdict
Across 10 YouTube reviews, the ASUS ROG Delta earns a Summa score of 3.7/5, ranking #31 among Gaming Headsets. Reviewers most often praise its comfort, sound quality, design/aesthetics, while the most common criticisms concern comfort, sound quality.
The ASUS ROG Delta excels in both audio performance and user comfort, making it a standout choice for gamers. Its integrated ESS Quad DAC delivers exceptionally clear, high-resolution sound with impressive spatial awareness, crucial for pinpointing in-game audio cues. Comfort is a major highlight, frequently praised for long gaming sessions due to its lightweight design, ergonomic fit, and the thoughtful inclusion of two swappable ear pad sets—protein leather for noise isolation and breathable cloth for coolness. The detachable microphone also receives high marks for its clarity, often considered suitable for streaming. Combined with a solid build, modern USB-C connectivity, and customizable RGB lighting, the ROG Delta offers a comprehensive and premium package.
Key design choices limit the headset's practicality and appeal. The most significant issue is the non-detachable cable, which is also criticized for being too short, restricting movement and creating a potential point of failure. While the audio is clear, the sound signature is a common complaint, with many reviewers finding the bass underwhelming and lacking impact for immersive gaming or music. Some users also experience comfort issues, particularly those who wear glasses, due to excessive clamping force. The lack of features like a 3.5mm jack and mic sidetone further detracts from the overall user experience despite its premium price.
