Reviewer verdict

Across 9 YouTube reviews, the ASUS PN64 earns a Summa score of 4/5, ranking #18 among AI Assistant Ready PCs. Reviewers most often praise its general system performance, connectivity & ports, design & build quality, while the most common criticisms concern design & build quality, storage & memory.

The ASUS PN64 is repeatedly praised for its strong connectivity, with many reviewers (27 mentions) highlighting Thunderbolt/USB-C, multiple USB ports, 2.5GbE and Wi‑Fi 6/6E and support for up to four displays. Reviewers (27 mentions) also consistently commend system performance, noting 12th/13th‑gen Intel mobile processors and capable integrated Iris Xe graphics for productivity, casual gaming and video editing. Its compact, VESA‑mountable design and quiet idle operation are frequently noted (25 mentions) as a good balance of build quality and cooling for a mini‑PC. Several reviewers (24 mentions) emphasize easy upgradability in barebone form with DDR5 SO‑DIMM slots and M.2/SATA storage options, letting buyers configure RAM and SSD capacity themselves.

Criticisms focus on the barebone approach and included components (12 mentions): many reviews note RAM and SSD are not preinstalled, adding cost and installation effort, and the CPU is soldered so not upgradeable. A number of reviewers (14 mentions) flag design issues such as limited internal space, dated/disliked inclusions like driver DVDs or incompatible power plugs, and louder fan noise under heavy load. Performance limitations tied to cooling and the lack of a dedicated GPU are also recurring concerns (9 mentions), with reviewers warning sustained heavy workloads or high‑end gaming will be constrained. A few reviews (3 mentions) call out specific connectivity limitations like missing VGA or limited front‑USB display support.
