The Corsair MP600 CORE XT is widely praised for its high performance, with reviewers frequently reporting blazing-fast sequential read and write speeds and excellent benchmark results (mentioned in 69 pros across reviews). Many reviewers also commend the included aluminium heatsink and beefy cooling options, noting consistent performance under load and that the drive stays cool (29 mentions of features, 15 mentions of durability and power-related cooling benefits). Reviewers often highlight the single-sided M.2 form factor and attractive gunmetal/black styling as convenient for space-limited builds and visible installs (18 mentions). Several reviewers additionally note good endurance and solid build quality, citing long rated lifetimes and robust construction (15 mentions).

Criticisms cluster around inconsistent and degraded real-world performance for some users, especially drops in write speeds and lower sustained write performance tied to QLC behavior or thermal limits (40 cons focused on performance). Price and value are another recurring concern, with multiple reviewers calling the drive relatively expensive or a poor value compared with competitors at similar price points (15 cons). Endurance and QLC-related durability limits are mentioned by several reviewers who worry about lower TBW and reduced longevity versus TLC alternatives (12 cons). Form-factor and compatibility issues are raised as well, mainly that the large heatsink can prevent fitting in some laptop or crowded motherboard M.2 slots and that some cooling variants require custom loop setups (8 cons about compatibility and 8 about form factor).
