Reviewer verdict
Across 10 YouTube reviews, the Matrix Fitness Matrix TF50 XIR earns a Summa score of 4.6/5, ranking #18 among Treadmills. Reviewers most often praise its features, tech integration, durability, while the most common criticisms concern noise level, durability.
The Matrix TF50 XIR is widely praised for its advanced features and tech-forward console, with reviewers frequently noting the clear 16-inch HD touchscreen, intuitive home screen, and broad app/entertainment and connectivity options (around two dozen mentions each for features and tech integration). Reviewers also consistently highlight durable construction and the 'ultimate deck' heavy-duty frame and cushioning, including a 400 lb capacity and industrial-grade materials (many mentions across durability and deck claims). Performance and comfort receive steady positive notes as well, with multiple reviewers mentioning a stable, quiet drive system, high incline capability and a generous running surface that feels comfortable and shock-absorbent. Additional recurring positives include convenient folding/transport features and an attractive warranty package emphasizing lifetime coverage on the frame and motor (several mentions each).
Criticisms are far less frequent but consistent: several reviewers reported noise issues, particularly squeaks or notable loudness from the unit (the largest single negative cluster). A smaller number raised durability or quality problems such as bad bearings or poor build quality, and a couple of reviewers called out footprint concerns (weight and one claim of non-foldability). Other scattered negatives include a complaint about being unable to turn the Wi‑Fi off, one disappointing warranty replacement, and a note that the price point is on the higher side.
