Reviewer verdict

Across 25 YouTube reviews, the Horizon Fitness Horizon T101 earns a Summa score of 4.4/5, ranking #26 among Treadmills. Reviewers most often praise its features, comfort, value, while the most common criticisms concern comfort, features.

Reviewers of the Horizon T101 consistently praise its user-friendly feature set and solid basic performance, with many (dozens) noting the quiet 2.5 CHP motor, clear/simple LCD console, and a wide selection of built-in workout programs and tech conveniences like Bluetooth speakers and a USB charging port. Comfort and cushioning also receive frequent positive mentions, with roughly three dozen reviewers highlighting the 20 x 55 inch deck, variable/3-zone cushioning, and a useful onboard fan and heart-rate grips that reduce joint impact. The treadmill’s compact, foldable footprint and easy hydraulic folding/assembly are repeatedly called out (about 30 mentions) as space-saving and simple to store, and value for money and reliability are emphasized by many reviewers who describe it as an affordable, well-built entry-level option. Several reviewers also comment on sturdy construction and a reassuring warranty that supports its overall durability and ownership experience.

Criticisms cluster around the T101’s modest performance limits and compact deck: multiple reviewers (around a dozen each) warn the 20 x 55 inch belt and 2.5 CHP motor make it best for walking and light jogging rather than serious running, and some taller or long-stride users may find the track short. Feature-wise, reviewers note basic or missing advanced functions (no memory bank, limited onboard streaming or heart-rate control) and a maximum incline that some feel is limited, while a minority report stability or wobble issues and shipping/assembly problems. A few reviewers also found the deck size and perceived weight/sturdiness less than expected for the price range, and there are isolated complaints about Bluetooth/connectivity and moving the folded unit on certain floors.

  • I wouldn't recommend that I don't want to do it with kids running around here it's got like a prop rod on a strut that like helps lift it up and lower it um but honestly the the space that it saves I'm not really that concerned with and I don't like the idea of having this kind of open like that ▶ Horizon T101: The Best Budget Treadmill for Your Home Gym @ 1:23
