Reviewer verdict

Across 10 YouTube reviews, the Foxeer Foxwhoop 35 earns a Summa score of 4.2/5, ranking #6 among FPV Drones. Reviewers most often praise its build quality, durability, features, while the most common criticisms concern flight performance, durability.

The Foxwhoop 35 is widely praised for its high-quality, sturdy construction, with reviewers repeatedly noting the thick 5 mm carbon plates, well-made printed/injection-molded parts, and solid overall build (39 mentions). Many reviewers also highlight the frame’s durability and ‘indestructible’ feel, plus protective features and lifetime warranty that support long-term use (22 mentions). Reviewers appreciate the versatile, well-thought-out layout and feature set—multiple mounting patterns, room for various stack sizes, integrated good-quality flight controller/ESC options, and tidy wiring—making electronics installation and compatibility straightforward (20 mentions). Flight handling and stability are generally described as precise and pleasant on stock tune, and reviewers find the FPV and support ecosystem reliable enough for different video systems (12 and 6 mentions respectively).

Criticisms center on weight and flight tuning: multiple reviewers call the quad noticeably heavy and say tuning/PID could be improved to reduce wobble and washout in aggressive maneuvers (13 mentions). A smaller group points to fragile or exposed elements—vulnerable low fibers, an exposed camera area, and some component-layout durability tradeoffs—that can lead to damage in certain landings or crashes (5 mentions). Reviewers also report usability annoyances like unclear screw placement/instructions and awkward strap or mount routing, plus some complaints about the stock camera options and vibration affecting HD mounts (3 mentions each). A few mention price or added cost when equipping certain video systems, and limited manufacturer-supplied PID/filter resources (2 mentions and 1 mention respectively).
