Across 28 YouTube reviews, the Yeedi Cube earns a Summa score of 4.2/5, ranking #40 among Robot Vacuums. Reviewers most often praise its hard floor cleaning, ease of use, maintenance, while the most common criticisms concern navigation, hard floor cleaning.

Reviewers praise the Cube for its exceptionally strong mopping and hard-floor cleaning features, with many (53 mentions) highlighting Sonic/e‑scrubber technology, an 8 mm auto mop lift, large on‑robot water tank, automatic mop washing and hot drying. Ease of use is another frequent positive (51 mentions): reviewers like the intuitive app, handy carry handle, simple refill/removal design and overall hands‑free Omni station. Navigation and mapping are noted positively by many (35 mentions) for reliable room mapping, carpet detection and smooth transitions across surfaces, and maintenance is also seen as low‑effort (31 mentions) thanks to self‑emptying, self‑washing and washable filters. Overall sentiment (30 mentions) frames the Cube as a compact, feature‑rich, good‑looking all‑in‑one vacuum‑and‑mop that delivers strong cleaning for everyday use.

Criticisms concentrate on navigation and mapping (38 mentions): reviewers report VSLAM/camera‑based navigation misses, imperfect obstacle avoidance, mapping quirks and slower or less detailed mapping compared with lidar systems. Mopping also drew reservations (18 mentions) with some saying the mop can dry out, not fully cover edges, has modest dirty/clean tank capacities and an 8 mm lift that can still contact rugs. Reviewers also noted cleaning performance and debris handling issues (12 mentions) such as scattered debris, trouble with very stubborn stains, and occasional left‑behind bits, while app/usability and maintenance quirks (12 and 10 mentions) include app bugs, fiddly pad removal, a large/heavy base and more frequent emptying or brush cleaning than expected.

  • Lastly is the app limitations. One thing I like about the Yeedi app is it has a live map feature, which most VSLAM robots don’t have. But it can only save one map at a time. A backup feature is available, but the problem is you can only save one, so if you’re backing up a second map, it’ll override the first backup, which defeats the purpose. Since it doesn’t have LIDAR, it lacks a mapping run, a huge limitation for VSLAM since it can’t scan its surroundings in a 360-degree pattern like a laser can. ▶ Amazing Value for the Price: Yeedi Cube Review @ 7:49
  • The lack of airflow and fast spinning side brushes make it less efficient at debris pick up, since it tends to scatter them around. It wasn’t good in the hair wrap experiment where it got a below-average score in both tests, with most of the hair wrapping on brush roll and axles. ▶ Amazing Value for the Price: Yeedi Cube Review @ 6:37
  • One unfortunate casualty of the downsized base station is the smaller water tanks: the 1-liter in-robot clean water tank, and the 1.2 liter dirty water tank on the base station. The smaller capacity means more frequent refills and dumping of dirty water. Also, using the UFO shaped water tank on the robot adds to its height, a towering four inches, so it will not fit under this sofa. ▶ Amazing Value for the Price: Yeedi Cube Review @ 5:51
  • The lack of airflow hampers its deep cleaning performance, only getting a 66.55% score, which is below average. This limitation trickles to its edge cleaning performance, where it seemed to pick up everything, only to regurgitate it out on the base station. ▶ Amazing Value for the Price: Yeedi Cube Review @ 6:13
