Reviewer verdict

Across 23 YouTube reviews, the Nextbase 322GW earns a Summa score of 4/5, ranking #36 among Dash Cams. Reviewers most often praise its features, mounting & installation, app & software, while the most common criticisms concern ease of use, design & build quality.

Reviewers consistently praise the Nextbase 322GW for its thoughtful design and robust feature set. The magnetic Click&Go Pro mount makes installation and removal incredibly simple, while the 2.5-inch touchscreen provides easy access to settings. It records smooth, clear 1080p video at 60fps, and the MyNextbase app allows for easy footage review with integrated GPS telemetry, showing speed and location on a map. A standout safety feature is the Emergency SOS function, which can automatically alert emergency services after a crash. Combined with its modular design that supports add-on cameras, the 322GW is considered an excellent value, packing premium features from a reputable brand into an affordable package.

The most significant drawback is the user experience with the mobile app, as reviewers consistently report that transferring large, high-resolution video files to a phone is extremely slow and tedious. This undermines the convenience of its Wi-Fi connectivity. Additionally, users face hidden costs that detract from its initial value. A microSD card is not included in the box and must be purchased separately. Furthermore, the heavily marketed Emergency SOS feature, a key selling point, requires a paid subscription after the first year of free service, creating an ongoing expense for a critical safety function.
